
This is a very basic, ready in 5 mins pesto sauce. Goes great in a pasta dish, or as a spread for fresh baguette.
Recipe:
- 2 cups of fresh basil leaves
- 2 Tablespoons of pine nuts or walnuts
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
Method:
- Combine basil leaves, nuts, and garlic in food processor.
- Once finely minced, slowly add the oil and process until texture is smooth.
- Add the parmesan and pulse briefly until combined.
- Serve with a dish of pasta.
